More and more people are packing their own lunches to save money in these hard times. And these fit&fresh Lunch on the Go are the perfect containers to pack lunches! I love how there are separate compartments so that you don’t end up with a soggy sandwich by lunchtime. The lid doubles as a plate and it also comes with an ice pack so that your food keeps chilled and fresh. That means that you can keep it on you and not have to worry about a co-worker taking your lunch from the employee lounge fridge (seems to happen a lot).

It is sold in many stores, but so far, the cheapest way that I was able to get it was to buy it from Bed Bath & Beyond with one of the many 20% coupons they send me in the mail.

Depending on thickness, they don’t sit on certain mugs well, but they sure bring oohs and ahhs.

ABC3D is way too cool! I had pre-ordered this clever little pop-up book as a birthday gift to myself, which was released this past October. Click the image above to see the video.

With Christmas just around the corner, this would make an excellent gift for anyone.

And maybe I’ll teach my future* kids their ABC’s with this fun treasure.

Bodyguard

If you have the resources to read this, chances are that you have a phone, a laptop, a media player, or all of the above. The many devices in my and hubby’s possession are well-protected with scratch-proof transparent skins from Gadget Guardz.

Ooh La La

I still love my cupcakes, but there’s been a recent new sweet in my life. At first glance, they don’t look all that impressive, but taste buds are pleasantly surprised.

Not to be mistaken with the American version – coconut macaroons, these delectable macarons originated from a French baker’s oven dating back to the early 1900s. These colorful mini hamburger look-alikes are showing up at weddings as party favors or a part of dessert buffets.

Now that Starbucks provides free internet with a registered card, you can save yourself a breath or two with a customized card that shows your regular beverage of choice.

There is a small fee, but it’s so much more fun to carry around a card that you designed yourself.

I’ve been asking my connections with this establishment to include a feature that can add images. Now wouldn’t that be cool?

The Breakfast Club

Next time you’re at Target, head on over to the cereal aisle and pick up an Archer Farms Cereal or two. No more fussing with bags inside boxes because of their brilliant packaging. Cereal tastes great and fresh! It’s the future of cereals. My fave is the Strawberry Yogurt Granola Flakes – I’ve eaten this same cereal almost every morning for months and I still can’t get enough of it!

It’s A Whole nü Way To Travel

Hi friends!

It feels like I’m traveling in a time warp because I have no idea where the time has gone!

If you haven’t noticed already, Grace Picks has a brand new look and logo! With the new look, images will be upgraded as well. I will be taking pics with a point-and-shoot instead of my iPhone.

Speaking of nü…

The nüvi® 350 and I are good friends. It’s dependable, helpful, and thoughtful. I even tell people that nüvi saved my marriage since it helps prevent some arguments on the road. ;)

It’s the perfect solution for everyone because we all know that men hate asking for directions but they love gadgets. And this device is especially great for people who travel a lot.

I recently saw one of their clever ads that marketed to nüviweds [newlyweds]. Now, I’m just waiting for them to come out with a live traffic feature… and to do my laundry.
